To produce top quality race courses it is important to establish a good healthy plant with a strong root system for the stability of the turf. Over the jumps and on tight bends it is doubley important to have a good root structure to help the hoof grip and ensure that the turf does not to give way.
The porosity and perculation rate of the soil is paramount to create a healthy environment for the plant to thrive. It is also important that the aesthetics are pleasing to the eye.
