We have been applying the Consolidate liquids to our greens for 5 years now. Our greens are mostly push ups and the Club is over 120 years old. We feel that Consolidate offers us much more control in terms of plant health than previous regimes used here. We can apply what we want and when we want it, which we feel is invaluable given the unpredictability of the weather in recent years. When I talk to people about Consolidate I tell them about the ‘light switch’ effect. Each spray seems to bring the turf back to life almost immediately.
The greens are firm pretty much all year round now which helps to keep the members happy and ‘touch wood’ the greens are very stable and not prone to disease outbreaks. The profiles are clean and the greens generally tend to dry out quicker rather than stay wet.
We have greatly appreciated the support and back up offered to us by Tony Kvedaras throughout these years and each of his visits are looked forward to. I have regularly recommended the use of these liquids to anyone who has asked and would do so again.
